Mobile keyboard privacy policy
This policy covers the QazaqKey mobile apps: the Android keyboard (input method) and the iOS keyboard extension. It does not cover the QazaqKey browser extension, which has its own policy.
Neither app can make a network request. The Android app's manifest declares no INTERNET permission, so Android itself blocks any network access. The iOS keyboard extension does not request Full Access (RequestsOpenAccess is off), so iOS sandboxes it with no network capability and no access to other apps' data or the system clipboard. These are operating-system enforced restrictions, not settings the app could change.
Neither app collects, transmits, or stores any data about you off your device. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, and no cloud sync. The keyboards have no dictionary and no autocorrect or word-prediction feature. Text you type goes only into the app field you are typing into, exactly as any keyboard behaves, and is never seen by QazaqKey.
The in-app Translate screen, which converts Cyrillic Kazakh text to Latin script, runs entirely on your device. It does not send the text you convert anywhere.
The app stores a small set of preferences locally on your device only, such as which alphabet the keyboard types in and your Globe-key behavior. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to QazaqKey.
The Settings screen contains links to QazaqKey website pages, such as this one. Tapping a link opens it in your device's browser; the app itself never fetches or reads these pages.
For questions about this policy, see the QazaqKey website.
